O piętnujących i piętnowanych – psychologiczne aspekty relacji piętnowania

Abstract

This paper is divided into three separate parts: introduction into the phenomenon of a stigma, and two other parts showing the perspective of the stigmatized and the stigmatizing. It focuses on the psychological explanations why people stigmatize others and how you can live with a stigma. It is mainly based on the research done in social psychology and it starts with a relational definition of a stigma, taking into consideration the social context of the above mentioned phenomenon.
