| dc.description.abstract | Artykuł dotyczy małych miast na terenie województwa dolnośląskiego. Badaniami objęto miasta do 5 tys. mieszkańców i wsie o korzeniach miejskich. Bez względu na obecny status miejscowości te mają specyficzny charakter z wieloma interesującymi wyróżnikami krajobrazowymi. Jednym z tych elementów w miastach o średniowiecznym rodowodzie jest rynek. Z biegiem czasu zmieniała się nie tylko ranga małych miast, ale także funkcja rynku. Celem przeprowadzonych badań była analiza obecnego zagospodarowania, funkcji i rangi rynku oraz określenie, w jakim zakresie pełni on rolę wyróżnika krajobrazu i centrum miejscowości. | pl |
| dc.description.abstract | The article concerns small towns in Lower Silesia. The research covers towns with population up to 5 000, as well as villages with urban history. Regardless of their current status, these towns have a specific character with a number of characteristic elements – landscape features. One of them, in towns which date back to the Middle Ages, is the presence of a market square. Historically, not only the rank of small towns has changed but also the function of the market square. The aim of this study was to analyze the current development, function and rank of the market square, and to determine to what extent it plays a role of landscape disti nguishing mark and center of the town. | pl |
