Abstract

Rozbudowa miast w drugiej dekadzie XXI wieku skłania do zwrócenia uwagi na procesy ich długotrwałego rozwoju. Różnorodność miejskich struktur, społeczne i kulturowe zróżnicowania oraz potrzeba zachowania ich tożsamości, spójności i integracji z historycznym ukształtowaniem wymagają pogłębionej refleksji nad miastem przyszłości. W artykule kluczowym staje się pytanie, czy to co dziś kreuje wizje świata architektury naszych miast, definiuje zarazem ich przyszłe walory, które mają służyć człowiekowi w humanistycznym i zgodnym z naturą wymiarze jego życia?

The urban development in the second decade of twenty-first century makes us pay attention to the processes of long-term urban development. The variety of urban structures, social and cultural diversity, the need to preserve their identity of cohesion and integration whit historical development requires a deep reflection on the city of the future. The key question is what today’s visions of the architectural world of our cities are defi ned at the same time define their future values serving man in a humanistic and compatible whit the nature of his life?
