Abstract

In some destinations of tourism, national parks are a challenge for other, e.g. antropogenic, tourist attractions. The article presents and discusses national parks in Malaysia and analyses their signifi cance as the country’s tourist attractions. The growing competitiveness of areas where nature is protected has been recognised as one of the reasons why Malaysia is chosen as a tourist destination.
