Abstract

The purpose of this article is to showcase the cultural and artistic actions which were conducted and initiated by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage during the Polish Presidency of the EU Council. In this article the political achievements of the Polish presidency in the cultural domain, as well as the detailed context of cultural events in Poland and abroad are discussed. Additionally, a reflective aspect on culture and its role in creating a positive image of Poland in the nations of the European Union are shown.
