One of the most vivid results of these processes was a rapid growth of foreign trade tumovers. This resulted also in the rise of the intemationalization level of the whole economy. In the year 2003 the share of exports in the Polish GDP reached a level of 25%. At the same time the commodity structure and the direction of Polish trade changed significantly.
