Personal documents analysis appears as a diverse space where tools taken from literary and sociological theory can coexist and create new, useful categories of interpretation – life of single person and societies. Theories of narrative identities, experience as category of reading, writing and interpreting autobiographies (written by professional and nonprofessional authors), indispensable contexts become more visible thanks to possibilities arised by using mixed socio-literary methods.
