Objawy kliniczne i wpływ leczenia na stan psycho-fizyczny u chorych z nadczynnością tarczycy

Abstract

Nadczynność tarczycy to zaburzenie funkcji tarczycy wprowadzające organizm w stan hipertyreozy. Jest to schorzenie endokrynologiczne, w którym dochodzi do zwiększonej syntezy i wydzielania hormonów gruczołu tarczowego. Chorobę rozpoznaje się u około 2% osób dorosłych w Polsce. Przyczynami nadprodukcji hormonów tarczycy jest autoimmunologiczna choroba Gravesa – Basedowa i wole wieloguzkowe nadczynne – choroba Plummera. Do stosowanych metody leczenia zaliczamy leczenie farmakologiczne - tyreostatyki, radioaktywną ablacją jodu tarczycy oraz leczenie operacyjne.

Hyperthyroidism is a disorder of thyroid function that puts the body in a state of hyperthyroidism. It is an endocrine disorder in which the synthesis and secretion of thyroid gland hormones occurs. About 2% of adults in Poland are diagnosed with this disease. The causes of overproduction of thyroid hormones are autoimmune Graves' disease and multi-nodular goiter - Plummer's disease. The methods of treatment used are pharmacological treatment - thyrostatic therapy, radioactive iodine thyroid ablation and surgical treatment.
