Emergency procedures to the people with mental illness and manifesting mental disorders should always be based on generally accepted principles of ethics. All actions and decisions must be targeted patient welfare and provide an overarching principle. Any person, regardless of the state of health (including mental health) and disorder, has the right to humane treatment. In emergency situations when the patient is aggressive, the primary action must be to ensure the safety of both the patient and the team of Emergency Medicine, include the use of coercive measures. These measures should be considered as a last resort when other methods have failed. Prior uses coercive belong to warn the person concerned about its use and the choice of being of a nature that would be the least burdensome for the patient. Even in the course of coercion, paramedic should try to ensure the most "comfortable" conditions for the patient with respect for their dignity, which can be very difficult, given the very fact of use of direct coercion.
