Badanie ma charakter rozważań nad dialogiem, rodzącym się między człowiekiem a architekturą w jej doświadczeniu percepcyjnym. Odniesiono się do pojęcia dialogu jako interpersonalnej rozmowy – wymiany myśli, której towarzyszy komunikacja niewerbalna – i zauważono, że w świetle tego pojęcia przedmiot badania obejmuje wewnętrzny dialog człowieka z samym sobą i z autorem architektury poprzez jej medium oraz niewerbalny dialog ciała człowieka z ciałem architektury na płaszczyźnie fi zykalnej materii. Celem rozważania jest szczegółowa analiza dialogu człowieka z architekturą, zwłaszcza jego roli w doświadczeniu percepcyjnym architektury. Odniesiono się do defi nicji atmosfery architektury i uznano, że w dialogu z architekturą człowiek odbiera jej atmosferę, której nadaje miarę i sens. Jednocześnie człowiek dialoguje z myślą architekta – autora percypowanego dzieła, z którym znajomość, pośrednia lub bezpośrednia, obejmująca rzeczywistą rozmowę za pomocą słów, tekstów czy komunikacji niewerbalnej, ma istotny wpływ na badanie. Przykłady omawianego dialogu wskazano w historii i współczesności, od l’architecture parlante Claude’a Nicolasa Ledoux do myślenia/obmyślania architektury, zapisanego przez Petera Zumthora. We wnioskach wskazano konkretne efekty dialogowania z architekturą i jego korzyści dla doświadczenia percepcyjnego samej architektury.

The study is a reflection on a dialogue, that arises between a person and architecture in his perceptual experience. In the assumption the research was referred to the definition of dialogue as an interpersonal conversation – an exchange of ideas that is accompanied by non-verbal commu- nication and it was noticed that the dialogue between a person and architecture involves an inner dialogue of a person including: his dialog with himself, with the author of architecture through its medium and dialogue of the human body with the body of architecture through the physical matter. The aim of the reflection is a detailed analysis of human dialogue with architecture, es- pecially its role in the perceptual experience of architecture. It was refers to the definition of the atmosphere of architecture and it was recognized that in the dialogue with architecture a person receives its atmosphere, which gives a measure and sense. At the same time, the person is in dialogue with the architect – the author of a perceived work, with whom the knowledge, direct or indirect, including a real conversation through words, texts, non-verbal communication, has a significant impact on the research. Examples of this dialogue occur in the history and modernity of architecture from l’architecture parlante of Claude Nicolas Ledoux to Peter Zumthor’s thinking architecture. As the research method was considered the analysis of the perceptive experience of the author of this article. The conclusions pointed to the specific effects of dialogue with architecture and its benefits for the experience of perceptual architecture.
